Capterra

Buy Capterra reviews in the USA and turn category searches into demos

Software buyers do not fall for a sales deck. They trust what other users say, and in the United States that conversation happens on a category page long before anybody fills in a form on your site.

  • Written by someone who sounds like a practitioner
  • Pros, cons and what they switched from
  • 100% non-drop warranty and refills

Why US software vendors buy them

Long cycles, large deals, one shortlist

Capterra buyers run months long evaluations and sign contracts worth more than a year of consumer sales. A presence on the platform hits revenue in three places that matter.

  1. Shortlist placement

The recommendation engine favours products with steady review velocity and strong satisfaction scores. Keep those healthy and you land in top category placement, which is where a US buyer starts rather than finishes.

  2. Demo conversion

Verified reviews answer the questions buyers stall on late in the process. How fast onboarding really is, whether support actually shows up, what return to expect. That is sales enablement working while nobody is on the call.

  3. Competitive conquesting

When a prospect stacks you against a legacy tool on a comparison page, a review from somebody who made that exact switch closes the trust gap before your team picks up the phone.

What a category page actually sorts on

Capterra says less about this than Trustpilot does, but the pattern across category pages is consistent enough to plan an order around.

SignalWhat the platform does with itWhat we do about it
Review velocityA listing collecting reviews steadily reads as a product people are still buying. One with a burst long ago and nothing since does not.Delivery runs across weeks rather than days, which is also the only pace a queue of hand read submissions will pass.
Satisfaction scoresNot just the headline star. Ease of use, customer service, features and value for money each carry their own number, and the category page uses them.Reviews score those fields separately rather than five across the board. A row of perfect scores is the pattern moderation looks at hardest.
Manual moderationEvery review is read by a person before it appears. This is the slowest service we sell, and the reason is not us.Reviews are written long, specific, and attributable to a real job title. Anything rejected is rewritten and resubmitted at no charge.

The moderation

Capterra verifies the reviewer, so the reviewer has to exist

Reviews are checked against a professional identity, usually a LinkedIn profile or a work email, and the form asks structured questions rather than for free text. A submission that reads like marketing copy is rejected at moderation and never appears.

That verification step is why this service costs what it does and why the packs are counted in ones and fives. It also means the reviews that do land are worth considerably more than the same number anywhere else on this site.

  • Profiles with a professional identity behind them
  • Structured answers, matched to a plausible job title
  • Review text checked against your actual feature set

The content

It has to include something the reviewer dislikes

This is the part every other provider gets wrong. Capterra asks for pros and cons separately, and a cons field containing nothing at all or the phrase no complaints so far is the clearest possible signal that the review is not real.

So each review names something genuine and survivable: a reporting feature that is thin, a mobile app that lags the web one, a learning curve in the first week. You tell us which criticisms you are comfortable with and we work inside that list.

How an order runs

What happens after you order Capterra Reviews

Four steps, and none of them involves handing over a password. If any provider asks you for one, that is the moment to stop.

  1. Send your Capterra listing

The public product page. We do not need access to your vendor portal and would not ask for it.

  2. Describe the buyer, not the product

Job titles, company sizes, the tools people leave to come to you, and the modules you want emphasised. A review from the wrong persona reads wrong to every real buyer in that category.

  3. Agree the criticisms

The list of things a reviewer is allowed to say is not great. This is a five minute conversation that makes the difference between reviews that pass moderation and reviews that do not.

  4. Submission and moderation

Reviews are submitted and then wait for Capterra's own review process, which takes several working days. Anything rejected is rewritten and resubmitted at no charge.

Software categories this works hardest in

The persona a review is written from matters more here than anywhere else we sell, because the reader has that job title.

  • CRM and sales enablement

Written from sales directors and revenue operations leads, about pipeline management, integration depth and whether the mobile app is usable in a parking lot between meetings.

  • HR and payroll technology

Written from HR business partners and people operations, about onboarding speed, compliance reporting and how much training the interface needed.

  • Project management

Written from agency founders and delivery leads, about resource allocation, task automation and what collaboration looks like when half the team is contract.

  • Cybersecurity and IT

Written from security and infrastructure leads, about detection speed, uptime and how fast a real person answers when something is broken at two in the morning.

What this does not do

B2B software has the strictest moderation of anything we sell into.

  • It is slow. Capterra moderates by hand and reviews take days to appear rather than hours.
  • Some reviews get rejected. We rewrite and resubmit at no charge, but we cannot promise a specific one will land.
  • It does not fix a product problem. Reviews here are read closely by people who will find the same issue in the trial.
  • It does not carry to G2 or Software Advice. Each directory is its own listing and its own order.
  • It is not a volume play. Ten well written reviews on a Capterra listing is a strong profile, and fifty would look absurd.

Our star rating finally reflects the service we give every day. It was the gap between the two that was costing us, not the service itself.

Capterra questions

The questions people ask about this one

Answers specific to this platform first, then the ones that apply to every order.

Read every question
How long does Capterra moderation take?

Three to seven working days for most reviews, and that is Capterra reading each one rather than a queue on our side. It makes this the slowest service we sell and there is no version of it that is fast. If you need a listing populated before a specific launch, start several weeks earlier than feels necessary.

What happens if a review is rejected?

It is rewritten and resubmitted at no extra charge, and rejections do happen. Capterra checks that the reviewer looks like a real practitioner in the category, which means the persona, the job title and the detail all have to hold up. That is also why the brief takes a few minutes rather than one line.

Do you need access to my vendor portal?

No. The public product URL is the only thing required, and there is no point in the process where a login helps. Any provider asking for vendor portal access is asking for the ability to change your listing, which is a much larger permission than the job needs.

How many Capterra reviews is a strong profile?

Far fewer than people assume. In most B2B categories ten well written reviews put you comfortably on the first screen, and fifty would look absurd next to competitors who have twelve. This is the one service on the site where the right order is usually the smallest one, and the packs are priced per review for that reason.

How long does delivery take?

It depends on the platform and the size of the pack. Smaller orders usually start moving within a few days, larger orders are spread over several weeks on purpose. A profile that gains fifty reviews overnight looks exactly like what it is, so we pace delivery to match how a busy business actually accumulates feedback. The expected window is shown on every package before you buy, and the live progress is visible in your account.

What do you need from me to start?

The public link to the profile you want to build, the trading name exactly as it appears there, and anything you want mentioned or avoided. If you sell several services and want the feedback weighted towards one of them, say so at checkout. Nothing else is required. We never ask for logins, and you should refuse any provider that does.

Is there a guarantee?

Yes. If a review does not settle within the cover period stated on your order, it is replaced at no cost. Platforms run their own filters and no honest provider can promise a hundred percent survival rate on every single entry, so the guarantee is written around replacement rather than around a number we cannot control.

Will this hurt my existing rating?

Only if it is done carelessly. Volume that arrives too fast, wording that reads like a template, and accounts that have no history are the three things that get a profile flagged. All three are avoidable, and avoiding them is most of what you are paying for.

Everything else

The other 8 services

Most orders cover more than one platform, because most businesses are being judged on more than one. Each of these is priced and paced on its own terms.

Send the public link to your profile. We will tell you what we would buy in your position, including the times the answer is a smaller pack than the one you were looking at.
